Full Description
One Anglo-Saxon small-long brooch currently held at Brewhouse Yard Museum in Nottingham. Part of a (?Fernie) collection also comprising of eleven Roman bow brooches and one medieval annular brooch, labelled as `Saxon& Roman Fibulae - brooches or cloak pins. Found at Bury St Edmunds and London'. The tag number that exists for the brooch is 57.
Item passed onto museum from Nottingham dealer in 1950, having been bought between the two World Wars (S1).
