Full Description

Ancient woodland as defined in (S1).
For details of history and earthworks see (S1), the Sufolk Wildlife Trust, English Nature, the County Council Countryside section and various Oliver Rackham works, including (S2).
Southern extension was not part of wood on 1830s tithe map.
