For details of history and earthworks see (S1), The Suffolk Wildlife Trust, English Nature, the County Council Countryside section and various other Oliver Rackham works including (R1). OS 1st edition map shows extending further to SW. Then named Hepworth Wood and ? Wood (illegible on our copy).
