Full Description
Nov 2001: Complete flaked flint axehead, unpolished though with ground edges. Mainly pale brown/grey, 161mm long. Only slight plough grazes near butt suggest recent incorperation within ploughzone. Details in (S1). Feb 2002: findspot corrected on map by Roy Colchester who said field had been deep ploughed fairly recently. Drawing and scan in portable antiquities database (SF 1029/8132).
