Oct 2001: Site of former Walpole hall (burnt down and rebuilt in C19th) and private chapel (?). Length of wall from chapel recorded by Suckling (R1) Surviving length, with recess, to be surveyed by Tim Maycock. Details to follow (S1) Note- named Weston Hall on Hodskinsons 1783 map (S2)
