Mislocation of possible site of church of St. Thomas - see WTM 008.
Nov 2001: Possible site of Church of St. Thomas, Wortham Everard. Clay foundations for walls revealed in pipeline trenching. Also Rom pottery Reported by Ipswich Museum (S1). One of two churches listed in Wortham in 1086 (with WTM 011). Note: Ecclesiastical parishes of Wortham Everard and Wortham Jarvis were consolidated in 1789 (S3) . No further information.
A grid reference (TM 093 785) is given on OS and IPSMG cards and in PSIA, but all other relevant data shows correct location to be at WTM 008.
