Full Description

Group of C 13 pottery from a pit or well in the cliffs. Two separate collections of finds from the same spot, with matching pieces: A: Scarborough ware green glazed jug fragment, orange glazed jug, grey ware shallow bowl, grey ware fish dish fragment and coarse grey ware sherds. All dated to C13 by Hurst. (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1).
B: Scarborough ware jug sherds, half a fish dish, half a jug with green glaze splashes, one sherd of orange glazed jug (joins above example), half a small cooking pot and various grey ware. (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S2).
