Full Description

Poorly preserved bank of the late C19 cement flare kilns, part demolished recently. Of local interest only. Details in (S1).
Opened in 1850, closed in 1906/7. Illustrated by slides showing the works in they heyday, compared with shots of remains today (S2).
Jan 2012: top third of remaining kiln walls demolished by owner.
