Full Description

2002: Very limited evaluation revealed five possible postholes (which could be animal disturbance). The site lies near the Roman settlement but there was no sign that the settlement continued to here. Further work is awaited (June 2002) (S1).

Assessment of the potential for the analysis and publication of the archaeological finds at RAF Lakenheath (S2-S3).

2003:Late Roman pits and multi-cut ditches (S4).

2020: Three cut archaeological features were identified during the watching brief; these included a human burial discovered underneath the Westbury Road surface, a probable Sunken Feature Building and an undated ditch(S4).
