Full Description
Site of probable coastguard/lookout station (formerly thougt to be location of Martello Tower BB - see HLY 112 for new entry).
Tower thought to be sited here due to rectangular layout of boundary stones with WD (War Department?) logos (WD Nos 1-4 on 1904 OS map, S1), but probably coastguard/lookout station (also owned by war dept?) only. Site was a coastguard station in 1904 (though appear as cottages on 1880s OS map with coastguard station to SW - S2).
