Full Description

Mislocation of Westleton 6.
`Grey-blue urn, much distorted in shape - obviously a kiln waster. Found entangled in the roots of a tree standing beside the River Minsmere, below Watermill Farm .... MR 62/423 685 Feb 1952. (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)' (S1). Cited grid reference in Darsham parish but from description (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) would appear more appropriate.
`A spread of oysters and potsherds were also seen about 200 yards away' (Westleton Misc and Darsham Misc).
August 1988: The finder, (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), marked actual findspot on map at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) approximately (not sure which side of ditch) in either Westleton or Darsham parishes. Actually found suspended in the air in roots from a fallen tree (S2).
