Full Description
Four trial trenches opened in area of proposed Care Home extension, produced evidence of extensive C19 landscaping in approximate area of the gardens of the now demolished Barking Hall. Several C19 drain runs and an undated ditch were observed. No significant early archaeological finds or features were recorded and no evidence of the precursor to the C19 Hall was observed (S1).
