Full Description

Rectangular moat, fragmentary, with spur to S.
Three parts of a narrow homestead moat are extant (1911) (S1). W arm filled in and overlain by modern drive. Remaining part (E and S arms and S spur), which had a paved bottom, now dry (1969). Probable fish pond to NE at TL 7190 7398 (S2).
Situated 100m NE of church (BTM 003) with no building within existing moated area ; Barton Hall lies just N.
