Full Description
November 2003: Field walked survey, few IA (?) & med sherds & light burnt flint scatter.
Over northern half of the area walked ther is a light scatter of heavily burnt flints. While the concentration of medeival sherds is low on an area close to a parish church the combination of 3, albeit small, probable Iron Age sherds and the burnt flint scatter indicates activity of later pre-historic date that is only partially visible in the plough soil.
