Full Description

1988/1989: Moderately dense scatter med pottery found during SE Suffolk Survey. 87 sherds ranging from 12th century to 14th. Also general scatter over rest of field including 21 flakes, 1 Roman sherd and a further 17 sherds pottery. Also slightly darker soil over the site area, (S1).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
