Full Description

Documentary and trenched evidence for ancient woodland (and Post Medieval field boundary ditches) identified in 1997 evaluation. Dukes Cany Wood mapped as of 9 acres in 1737. Part of eastern boundary ditch recorded in evaluation trenches - details in (S1). One unstratified prehistoric flint scraper also found.
Approximately mapped in HER after 1737 map and evaluation trenching.
Built over by 2005.
