Full Description

Site of 'Great Barn', possibly tithe barn, shown on Ogilby's map of 1675. Possibly destroyed by construction of railway (S1), though Tithe map of 1838 shows no building in the vicinity (S2, though needs re-checking).
The only likely building on Hodskinson's map of 1783 is around TL 823649. Earlier archive documents also need checking.
Mapped (very approximately), after Ogilby, on HER map in Jan 2009.
