Full Description

Range of buildings (possibly including maltings?) shown on 1880s OS map and possibly on Hodskinsons 1783 map.
Possibly part of Medieval moated complex TDE 001.
Abuts south side of former green (see TDE 016).
2006: walls footings exposed when spreading upcast from adjoining moat (TDE 001) - still visible to circa 50cm height (William Fletcher).
Also visible flint ramped (with retaining walls) access into SE extension of moat may relate to use of this building complex.
