Full Description
Large irregular moated site. Shown on 1880s OS map (S1), where W half has central W-E sub-division. Further N-S sub-division of main outer moated area, though outer moat missing on N-E & S sides of eastern half of complex.
Eastern & central arms of W half & half of western & whole of eastern arms of E half no longer mapped.
Earlier maps and documents not checked.
Former farmhouse (LB grade II) centrally placed within eastern half of moat.
