Full Description

Surface scatter of 5 fragments of Roman tegula (including L-shaped edges) and 2 prehistoric flint cores from spur overlooking River Stour. No Roman pottery found (S1). Findspot marked on map in area centring on TM 926342 though cited in letter as from TM 926341(S1).
Aerial photograph shows whole area as covered in a series of what appear to be drainage channels linking to watercourse to west (S2).
