Full Description
1970s: limited fieldwalking by John Hatchett & Alan Underwood (?) of area of cropmarks (see Un, & for extension to NE see TYN 067) located pottery of Roman (samian & 'Caistor' Ware); Ipswich, Thetford and Med wares. Summary in (S1).
Continuation intended at time but not known if carried out.
A 'Neolithic[/]Bronze Age arrowhead from same field (near Little Covert) found by the Smiths [landowners?](S1).
Middle Saxon sceattas from same area? - (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), series E (2001.1212) 1.14g; Series k/Q? (2001.12130 0.57g & by I Charity, Series A (X2) (S2).
