Full Description

Monitoring identified Roman features in the eastern half of the site (S1), indicate a continuation of the previously identified Roman site to the north of Caudle Head. Excavations in the western half of the site showed waterlain and peaty deposits. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2006 (S2).
