Full Description
Sept 2004: 7 evaluation trenches (Tr 30-36) in (former?) single field examined prior to dualling of A11 between Barton Mills and Thetford - Results in (S1). Features listed as E-W ditch in Tr 30; 2 possible post holes & 3 possible pits, all undated, in Tr 31; an undated ovoid feature & narrow gulley in Tr 34 and an oval undated pit in Tr 36 (S1).
For continuation of trenching to E see ELV 053 and to W see ELV 055.
