Remnants of possible moat to rear of Hill Farm buildings shown on 1880s and later OS maps in form of two narrow arms, a larger arm(?) to the NW and a pond to the NE which may have formed part of an original rectangular moat with sides of 55 by 60 metres (S1).
Only the arm to the NW now (partly) survives.
