Full Description
Monitoring of footing trenches for a new house revealed extensive dumped material of 19th century date including brick and tile.A loayer of darker material was observed within the underlying sand and gravel, which formed befor the river valley had assumed its present shape, but no datable material was recovered from this deposit (S1).
