Full Description

An archaeological excavation in advance of housing development on land off of Chalkstone Way, Haverhill identified evidence of three phases of limited activity in the prehistoric and post-medieval periods. Two pits dating to the Bronze Age were identified and contained small amounts of heavily abraded pottery, flints and animal bone (S1).
