Full Description

An archaeological excavation in advance of housing development on land off of Chalkstone Way, Haverhill identified evidence of three phases of limited activity in the prehistoric and post-medieval periods. Six pits and a ditch dating to the Iron Age were identified. Pottery, flints and animal bone were found in various features (S1).
