Full Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken prior to the construction of two new office units at the site of Gipping Valley Property Company, Lower Street, Baylham. The plot is adjacent to three undated ring ditches, possibly representing former Bronze Age burial mounds. Two trenches were excavated, one through each new office plot. A small undated pit was revealed in Trench 1, but no further archaeology was found (S1).
