Full Description

Part of a possible moat to the SE of the mill. Sub-rectangular moat shown on 1880s and 1900s OS maps on NW side of Stone Street (and adjoining green?). Now largely gone.
Earlier maps and history not checked.
2009: part of site monitored by Archaeological Solutions. The only archaeological features or finds revealed were related to the demolished 19th century barn. (S2)
