Full Description
Long green shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map where named Aldersfield Green. Shows a range of buildings around periphery, especially on NW side.
A few Listed Buildings survive around the edges of the green (now named Ashfield Green). Note Aldersfield Hall at N end of green.
