Full Description

Evaluation revealed several features of unknown date and function, together with a large post medieval sand extraction pit. No evidence for structural remains or early flood defences were encountered, although the topography demonstrated during the evaluation indicates that the site lies close to areas prone to flooding in the past (S1).
