Summary

An area of slight hummocks and hollows was identified during a Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey. The earthworks were identified as possible post medieval flint mines.

Full Description

Area of slight hummocks and hollows in SW of compartment 4016. Possibly flint mines, but probably natural though adjoining 'area of gun flint industries' just to N (see STN 021).

October 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
No notable hummocks or hollows, or other evidence of flint mining, was identified in this area on the consulted sources.
