Full Description
An early Anglo-Saxon brooch (5th century) found in the garden of 12 Pinecroft Rise.
The brooch is among the earliest forms of cruciform brooch and probably would have had two side knobs in the headplate which are now missing. It is from the transition phase between the Roman and Early Medieval periods (S1, including photo).
It is now displayed in Sudbury Museum.
