Full Description
On Basil Brown's map, SAU ref. no 15, there is an entry: "?Ancient road A.O. Records 7.9.1949" but this is in another hand. Presumably A.O. stands for Archaaology Branch of the Ordnance Survey (S1).
Grid references revised - from TL 9113 7640/TL 9200 7543. Course of supposed ancient road on BB's map follows field boundaries. Present course is a footpath.
