Full Description

2009: Trenched evaluation revealed evidence for Iron Age / Roman occupation in the form of pits, ditches, postholes and a possible beam slot (S1).
2010: Monitoring revealed a ditch was noted running across the area of the car park. The monitoring of the haul-road was undertaken to ensure an adequate depth of overburden was left in-situ in an area where a number of archaeological features were recorded during the evaluation (S2).
