Full Description

2005: Two test pits were observed, revealing natural sand at 1.5m and 3.2m below ground level respectively, with brick rubble above each. The western end of the site was lowered by c.1.3m, still in made ground, but revealing some 18th/19th century pottery, including a fragment of a possible saggar (S1).
