Full Description

Basil Brown says that a two handled Siegburg ware greenish buff coloured vessel was found by an excavator driver and brought to him for identification on May 12th 1960. The vessel was required to be mended and restored before returning to Air Ministry officials. The pottery was given to him by Mr F Stebbings of Water Lane, Rickinghall with a request that information about it be given to Mr Haywood, Near Four Arches, Walsham-le- Willows. The RAF contact was Mr Emerson, Station Engineer, Honington (S1).
