Full Description

Loom weights: 6 found in circular patch of charcoal and ash, circa 30ins in diameter, about 4 feet from surface in sand resting on the Chillesford clay. Two other similar discoveries were made behind the foreman's cottage in a now disused part of the works (cylindrical clay weights, circa 10 inches long, pierced through the centre)(S1)(S2).
