Full Description

A windmill shown on maps from 1780 -1901 now gone. Dolman records the mill as 2 but believed to be the same. Mill house remains. The Gazetter of Suffolk Mills (1979) also claimed there were 2 mills the first was first mapped in 1783 (post open trestle) but demolished in 1904. The second was built in 1867 and demolished in 1944. It is likely the maps relate to the same mill site.
