Recorded as part of the Farmsteads in the Suffolk Countryside Project. This is a purely desk-based study and no site visits were undertaken. These records are not intended to be a definitive assessment of these buildings. Dating reflects their presence at a point in time on historic maps and there is potential for earlier origins to buildings and farmsteads. This project highlights a potential need for a more in depth field study of farmstead to gather more specific age data.

16th C timber-framed and plastered farmhouse with a tiled roof and red brick chimneystack. A kitchen extension and porch were added in the 19th C. Two timber-framed and weatherboarded barns stand in the grounds of this farm, one with 6 bays, the other with 5,however both include threshing floor. Both also re-use timbers which appear to have come from an earlier structure at this site and also have a 19th C porch addition (S1).
