On Basil Brown's OS map this road is marked: "Conjectured course of Peddars Way (OS Map of 1880-87)." (S1).
Notes are entered on map by an unknown hand at Archaeology Branch of OS. The southern end of the road ends abruptly at TL 9539 7328 as the OS map into which it extends is missing from Basil Brown's set.
This road is a continuation of Coney Weston CNW 004 and Bardwell BAR 027.
