Full Description

An archaeological excavation was carried out after evaluation on the site confirmed the presence of archaeological deposits of Roman, Neolithic and Medieval date that would be damaged by the planned development. Identified features included medieval clay extraction pits, field boundary/enclosure, a small post-structure, and Neolithic pits, as well as post medieval and modern features (S1 S2). See also Neo.
