Full Description
Small quantity of Roman greyware pottery of C2/C3 date. Five shards of Roman pottery sent in by local amatueur (returned). Found in fields in which he kept his horse at Bridge Farm, Hacheston. Site is a pasture field in which a waterpipe was recently excavated finds location in soil disturbed by digging. I dentified as 2nd - 3rd century locally made pottery, 1 rim and 4 body shards.
Site adjacent to HCH 023 (monitoring of Roman pot kiln?)
