Monument record ADB 195 - Aldeburgh Mill

Old windmill to the very north of Aldeburgh as shown on 1594, 1779, 1787 & 1790 maps of Aldeburgh (S1).
The position on the 18th century maps appears to be about the same as the 19th century 'Marine Villa' though the 1594 map appears to show it slightly further to the N (possibly relocated?).
Note: a circular structure looking much like a windmill (though is about 9m in diameter so rather large for a mill) is positioned to the west at TM 4645 5722 on the 1882 OS map though this is also recorded as the 1779 position of a further gun battery (see ADB 194).
