Full Description

A roadside grave. James Mann - Ipswich.
According to Halliday, James Mann held up Wickham Market. Due to receiving the death sentence he hanged himself in Ipswich gaol. "Buried in the crossroads and a stake driven through him" (Bury and norwich post, 11 April 1792; Ipswich Journal, 7 April 1792)(S1).
