Full Description
A hexagonal Type 22 pillbox situated by the side of A143 road and River Waveney, by Bungay Golf Clubhouse at edge of Outney Common.
September 2015 - Historic Building Recording and photography undertaken by Bungay Outney Common Owners ahead of the conversion of this pillbox to a hibernaculum (S2). The survey indicates that the internal divisions of the pillbox are still largely intact. All works associated with the conversion are to be reversible.
