Full Description
Bawdsey radar station. Type 24 pillbox, with a skirt formed by dry laying a retaining wall of concrete sandbags 36ins away from the pillbox walls - resultant space filled with earth. Skirt slopes up at an angle of about 20 degrees from the front. Internal blast wall straight, and parallel with rear pillbox wall.
