Full Description

At edge of railway cutting (N side), near bridge carrying A1071 over railway, WNW of Ipswich city centre. Spigot mortar position on embankment of railway line. Plinth and mounting survive. No remains of pit or ammunition lockers. Guarding bridge, approach road from Hintlesham (to the SW) and South Ipswich (S1).
