Full Description

Some 50m downstream from bridge over Black Bourn river on road Honington - Sapiston. On W bank of river. Pillbox of unknown type DESTROYED. Flat section of concrete on river bank may be remains of base.
[Site also reported by recorder, Simon Purcell, who states it was type 22].
