E of bridge and A11 road, near Barton Mills 'Fiveways' roundabout. On S bank of River Lark, by a sluice. Pillbox, type 28. Doorway faces S. Brick external shuttering, concrete roof and embrasures. No blast wall in front of doorway. Pillbox between the river and a ditch running past the entrance. Thickly covered with brambles and ivy (S1).
